Medicaid Health Insurance Program coverage is changing. Re-enrollment for Iowa Medicaid and Hawki starts in April 2023.

Don’t lose your health coverage. Follow these steps:

Make sure your state’s Medicaid agency has your current contact information.

Complete your renewal form right away (if you get one).

Don’t delay. Be sure your contact information is current.

If you lose or are denied Medicaid or CHIP coverage, you can apply for affordable coverage at Healthcare.gov. You must apply within 60 days of losing coverage.
